PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent.  This is a rare and very early Louisiana banknote. We only know of the type as a contemporary counterfeit like this, printed from a copy plate with the Harrison imprint at the lower left. At top center is a seated Native American in a corn field. Ornate panels are at each end. A \"5\" bisects the state name at the left end and the denomination at the right end. Heavy pen cancellations are across very crude details. Noted with \"Edge Tears and Damage.\" Very collectible due to its early date and place in Louisiana banking history. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society\n\nRealized $258.50.
