PCGS Very Fine 30.  There are several series of notes from this available parish. This is a high-grade example from the August 5, 1862 written date series printed on thin paper. These were often subject to chips and ink corrosion flaws making high-grade notes rare. At top center is a train rounding a bank between \"V\" counters. At the left end, perpendicular FIVE DOLLARS is inside a pattern bordered cartouche. A red protector FIVE is in the lower half. Broadly margined and bright. This is the finest grade example from the series we have cataloged, and would fit perfectly in a parish note type set. Ex: Eric P.
