These classic Northern sutler notes were printed on white paper by A.O. Evans, Printer & Stationer, Hoboken, N.J. There is full green tint, the sutler's arced, outlined name in white at the center, and a red overprint at left. Each denomination has a common style using the Massachusetts arms at left and an eagle at lower right. Not rare, but popular and not often seen uncut. The 14th Massachusetts was organized for garrison duty in Washington, D.C. on May 12, 1864. The sheet is wide margined on two sides. Ex: Eric P.
