Accordion-style cartouches are at both ends, with POST OFFICE EXCHANGE at left and LAND AGENCY OFFICE at right. Obligations and the denomination are across, with the French equivalent in italics at top center. The top and bottom show a decorative border. Signed by A.T. Crane as \"Post Master.\" A very sharp, stacked red ST. LOUIS / JAN. 21. postmark is at the lower right. Noted with \"Edge Damage and Tape Repairs,\" The faults are at the lower left, but the bold postmark and sharp signature are very clear at the lower right.
