A classic and popular loan certificate collected in numismatic and Texiana cabinets. This intaglio engraved and printed bond paper certificate has the imprints of the Southern Bank Note Co. and Endicott & Clark, N.O. In a medium-size format with coupons underneath. A Native American gestures at top center, and lengthy obligations are across. The left end has a perpendicular plowing vignette, and the Texas Star is at bottom center. B series. Ten coupons. Cut-cancels were closed with glassine tape, and there is a glassine strip repair along the top back edge. Margins are generally complete, and there are minor nicks only. Overall, Fine to Very Fine.
