This is a rare issuer and second denomination from the series we have offered from the Newman Collection. Printed on white paper with green printing. A small running horse is at the top between the curving and straight parts of the title. The cartouche at left shows perpendicular \"J.B. PRICE & CO.\" A large red TWO protector is across, and a red \"2\" counter is at top right. This is an interesting transportation issuer with a long title and ties with Texas. Grading notes an \"Edge Split at Top Left.\" A slightly finer $1 note from the series cited realized $493.50 in Newman Part VII, October, 2015. Ex: Eric P.
