Departing passengers on the steamship and train exchange farewells with those remaining behind. The vessel, locomotive and factories behind spew black smoke. A portrait of a veiled woman is in the oval toward the right. \"Hole Punch Cancelled\" and \"Mounted on Cardstock\" as made. Noted with some \"Adhesive Residue at Left\" by grading. The Krause Collection example was a low-grade issued note. The only other $1 proof we know of in private hands came from the Toppan, Carpenter & Co. archive book we auctioned in the September 2014 Long Beach Signature sale. Ex: Eric P.
