PCGS Extremely Fine 45 PPQ.  This is a scarcer Michigan bank and one of the finest issued notes we have seen from the series. Classically engraved plates by Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Co. were used on this note with 1837 officer signatures (as seen on the Bowen plate note example). Commerce and Plenty are seated at a wharf. To their right, a steamboat sails away. Its plume of black smoke forms a dark cloud that provides a background for a large clipper ship.
