PCGS Very Fine 20.  There were four proofs of this type in the 1990 American Banknote Company Archive sale, but this is the first issued note of any denomination we have ever seen from the title. Prior to 1990, this was an all SENC bank in Haxby with just descriptions from Wismer. The fine geometric details and vignettes are by Danforth, Bald & Co. Between the title and denomination, an allegorical female with her hair in a bun reclines next to a standing eagle. In the distance, a train traverses a bridge. The harbor and city view are far away. At the right end is horizontal strip of lathe work with Durand patent text above (seen on the proofs, here muddy from wear). Problem-free and, as an issued note, exceedingly rare.
