A classic patriotic theme is shown at center. America reclines upon a cloud with rays of glory behind. She holds a shield and a capped liberty pole; an eagle and fasces are beside her. The \"3\" counter at upper left is held by Agriculture. A train motif is featured in the base vignette. The only other $3 proof, from Chester L. Krause's Bookbinder-Wismer acquisition, realized $1,725 in the first auction, September 2009. Noted as \"Hole Punch Cancelled\" and \"Mounted on Cardstock\" as made.
