PCGS Choice New 63.  This is a very popular railroad company issuer and this note has an engraved signature of Nathan Bedford Forrest, former Confederate general. A lithographed note with predominant green \"2\" protector in center. The design styles are similar on each denomination. The vignettes show cotton harvesting at left and a wagon being loaded at right. The ornate green back displays a cotton plant at center. This is a choice example and these notes are well sought after. The 25 cents denomination from this series graded PCGS Very Choice New 64 realized $587.50 in the October 2015 Newman Part VII sale.
