The title has been cut off, and there's no page number or magazine name.  This appears to be set in a bedroom/dressing room, and appears to be a conversation between a mother and daughter.  There's a dresser with a mirror in the background, a wall sconce, and a folding screen.  The mother is on the left side of the illustration.  She's seated in a padded chair, and dressed for evening in a long, sleeveless, patterned dress, with a long, beaded necklace - possibly pearls, and a bracelet.  Her hair is in a tasteful up-do.  She's holding a glass in her right hand.  The daughter is on the right side of the illustration, standing in front of the folding screen.  There's a padded chair to her right, with clothes on the seat.  She's either dressing to go out, or changing for bed, as she's only wearing a satin bra and tap pant set, along with a necklace and bracelet, holding a marabou-trimmed robe in her hands.  Her hair is cut short in a 1920s bob, with a marcel wave.  The caption reads;  \"Molly,\"  said Mrs. Waddington,  \"have you been giving your father Zane Grey?\"  Information found in a P. G. Wodehouse site for his serialized stories.  This was published in Liberty Magazine in 1926 - no information on which issue this illustration was in."},{"label":"Medium","value":["2 color prints (prints) [AAT]"]},{"label":"Date Created","value":"D:00 M:00 Y:1926"},{"label":"Image View Type","value":"Periodical Illustration"},{"label":"Title","value":"The Small Bachelor: The Funniest Story Every Written by the Master of Comedy"},{"label":"Copyright Status","value":["In Copyright - Educational Use Permitted"]},{"label":"Collection Name","value":["Walt Reed Illustration Archive Tear Sheet Collection","Dowd Illustration Research Archive","Walt Reed Illustration Archive"]},{"label":"Link to Finding Aid Record","value":"https://aspace.wustl.edu/repositories/3/archival_objects/280076"},{"label":"Publish Country","value":["United States [LCNAF]"]},{"label":"Collection ID","value":["DIRA-00019"]},{"label":"Collecting Area","value":["Dowd Illustration Research Archive"]},{"label":"Genre Form","value":["Graphic Design and Illustration","Tear sheets [AAT]"]},{"label":"Style Period","value":["Commercial Modernism"]},{"label":"Cultural Context","value":"Popular American Culture"},{"label":"Copyright Statement","value":"<a href=\"https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC-EDU/1.0/\"> This Rights Statement can be used only for copyrighted Items for which the organization making the Item available is the rights-holder or has been explicitly authorized by the rights-holder(s) to allow third parties to use their Work(s) for educational purposes without first obtaining permission.</a>"},{"label":"Type","value":["Still Image"]},{"label":"Date Notes","value":"1926"},{"label":"Metadata Status","value":"Not Reviewed by Metadata Services Staff"},{"label":"Link to Catalog Record","value":"http://archon.wustl.edu/index.php?p=collections/controlcard&id=776&q=walt+reed"},{"label":"Visibility","value":"Full access (No downloads/view only)"},{"label":"Download Restrictions","value":["Full Asset PDF","Metadata","Original item(s)","Transcript"]},{"label":"Creator","value":["Flagg, James Montgomery"]}],"description":"The Small Bachelor: The Funniest Story Every Written by the Master of Comedy","sequences":[{"@type":"sc:Sequence","canvases":[{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/washu/iiif/40fb8e3c-dda6-4cf5-9bad-8a2980ccd78c/canvas/_1","@type":"sc:Canvas","label":"The Small Bachelor: The Funniest Story Every Written by the Master of Comedy","height":6072,"width":9773,"images":[{"@type":"oa:Annotation","motivation":"sc:painting","resource":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/washu/iiif/40fb8e3c-dda6-4cf5-9bad-8a2980ccd78c/full/full/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","format":null,"service":{"@context":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/context.json","@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/washu/iiif/40fb8e3c-dda6-4cf5-9bad-8a2980ccd78c","profile":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/level2.json"},"height":6072,"width":9773},"on":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/washu/iiif/40fb8e3c-dda6-4cf5-9bad-8a2980ccd78c/canvas/_1","metadata":[]}],"thumbnail":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/washu/iiif/40fb8e3c-dda6-4cf5-9bad-8a2980ccd78c/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","height":500,"width":500}}]}],"thumbnail":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/washu/iiif/40fb8e3c-dda6-4cf5-9bad-8a2980ccd78c/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","logo":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/washu/iiif/logo"}
