PCGS Very Fine 25.  A very rare Reconstruction era Georgia county note and only the fourth we have handled from the series. Printed on white paper and in a wide format by the Franklin Printing House, Atlanta. The right two-thirds segment has the title in red, obligation in black and green protector TEN. In the left portion there is a vignette of a cotton wagon adapted from antebellum notes with signatures of county officials underneath. The back is blank and has contemporary endorsements. We have handled three other examples from this rare county. The $50 note from the Alan Dorris collection graded PCGS Very Fine 35 Apparent realized $1,645 in April 2015. A similarly graded $10 note realized $3,055 in our 2014 FUN sale. An important Georgia county note in excellent condition. Ex: Eric P.
