The man that the story is about is the only full figure depicted. His body is turned slightly to his right, arms crossed, cane hanging from his right arm. His face is turned directly to the viewer, with a confident look. There are four women's heads going across the top of the illustration, level with the man's head - two on his right, two on his left. All appear to be young and affluent. The first and third women are hatless, the second and fourth are wearing hats. The hair and hats look like 1910s styles. There is a page number and a month on the page, but not the name of the periodical this may have been in. The numbers 15-19 are written in blue at the top of the page. I was unable to find this in any Flagg sites."},{"label":"Medium","value":["Black-and-white prints (prints on paper) [AAT]"]},{"label":"Date Created","value":"D:00 M:00 Y:1917"},{"label":"Image View Type","value":"Periodical Illustration"},{"label":"Image View Description","value":"February 1917, p.11"},{"label":"Title","value":"The Girls Who Wanted to Marry Me"},{"label":"Copyright Status","value":["In Copyright - Educational Use Permitted"]},{"label":"Collection Name","value":["Walt Reed Illustration Archive Tear Sheet Collection","Dowd Illustration Research Archive","Walt Reed Illustration Archive"]},{"label":"Link to Finding Aid Record","value":"https://aspace.library.washu.edu/repositories/3/archival_objects/280076"},{"label":"Publish Country","value":["United States [LCNAF]"]},{"label":"Collection ID","value":["DIRA-00019"]},{"label":"Collecting Area","value":["Dowd Illustration Research Archive"]},{"label":"Genre Form","value":["Graphic Design and Illustration","Tear sheets [AAT]"]},{"label":"Style Period","value":["Commercial Modernism"]},{"label":"Cultural Context","value":"Popular American Culture"},{"label":"Copyright Statement","value":"<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC-EDU/1.0/\">This Item is protected by copyright and/or related rights.
