The issuer was not present in the Armand Shank Collection, which attests to the rarity of these notes. This early railroad vignette shows passengers both in and on top of the carriages as the train prepares to travel through a pass in the rocky landscape. A framed portrait of Washington is in the end panel at left, between two \"20\" counters. Standing Washington occupies most of the right end, with an arced TWENTY above his head. He looks toward the viewer as he gestures to the title. Although designated Apparent due to being \"Stained\" and having \"Small Rust Stains,\" it is quite charming and superior to the one example we have cataloged. Ex: Eric P.
