The mostly nautical vignettes complement the location, and the American Bank Note Co. style is excellent. Each note has a red protector that outlines a white denomination. The $1 note has a shipyard scene; the $2 note features a sidewheel steamer on high seas; the $3 has a cattle-driving scene at top center along with a sailor holding a flag at the left; and the $5 note displays a screaming eagle on a rock with two ships in the background.
