The man has settled into the corner of the swing.  He's holding the woman's left hand with his left hand, stretching it across his chest.  His right hand is holding her left elbow.  Her right hand is resting on his right coat sleeve.  The caption beneath it reads;  'He appeared torn between an impulse to push her away from him and leave the house, and another powerful and possibly more natural urge to crush this glorious girl to his breast'.  The name R. A. Eaglesham has been stamped in the lower right side of the page.
