St. Louis, (M.T.) - Bank of Missouri $20 Mar. 9, 1818 MO-30 G24. PCGS Very Fine 30 Apparent. A second rarely encountered $20 note from this territorial bank, but with a different plate letter and signature combination than the previous. Printed on red fiber banknote paper by Murray, Draper, Fairman & Co. Layout and style as last. The Jefferson bust vignette is at the upper right, with JEFFERSON arced over the head; titles and obligation are across with \"bearer\" written rather than engraved; and end panels have TWENTY at the left and MISSOURI at the right. Plate B. No. 76. Signed by John Dales (rather than Langham) as cashier and Aug. Chouteau as bank president. Not endorsed on the back. Noted with \"Small Edge Tears; Minor Rust Stains.\" Both petty faults are confined to the wide portions of the margins. The note is beautifully centered and boldly printed.
