CC-33. PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ. This is another very rare Superb Gem New 67PPQ. Very bold printing is seen on the emblem of the eagle and heron fighting; the motto is EXITUS IN DUBIO EST (The outcome is in doubt). The face margins are wide and perfectly even like the $2 previous, its former sheet-mate. The beautiful nature print back is also perfectly centered and wide margined. In the PCGS population report, this is tied with only one other 67PPQ note. Visually, one of the most impressive Continental Currency $3 notes available, and with the addition of this famous pedigree. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society\n\nRealized $5875.00.
