The obverse of this extremely popular type features a half bust of the King with sword and orb, and the reverse depicts an image of Christ with graphic wounds from the crucifixion. A pleasing coin with original toning, the initials Z W have been scratched on either side of the Christ figure, possibly early collector's marks.
