PCGS Fine 12 Apparent.  This is a very rare note. The Walton Plate Note example was loaned from the Byron Reed Library for his illustration. This American Bank Note Company engraved and printed note is an important piece. A sidewheel steamer is at the top, slightly right of center, above the title. An allegorical female is top left, with a vermillion \"1\" die to the right. Outlined by the vermillion guilloche is a ONE 1 ONE protector. A farm woman representing Plenty is at the lower right. Counters are in the remaining corners. As noted by grading, \"Missing Top Left Corner,\" which does not affect the vignette. This issued rarity is still very collectible. Ex: Eric P.
