The reverse was not paired with any other obverse dies, so this is a single-variety Guide Book listed Fugio. This lovely chocolate and olive-brown copper is an early die state with the constant obverse die crack from the sundial to the rim at 4 o'clock. The reverse has minor cracks in rings 6 and 8, with a vertical crack from the border to ring 7. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.\n\nRealized $2937.50.
