PCGS Fine 15 Apparent.  This $3 denomination is from the first series and printed without an imprint. Similar in style to the $1 note from the issue, ST. LOUIS is shown in the left end panel; the perpendicular written denomination at the right is italicized and has a superscript \"s\" at the end. Within the spare layout are the obligations and titles in center. Grading notes: \"Edge and Internal Tears; Missing LL Corner; Mounting Remnants on Back.\" The type was not in the 1981 Vacca sale. The finer example we sold in the Newman Part VII Sale in October 2015 realized $3,995. This has a piece missing, but is still very collectible. Ex: Eric P.
