One of the men is more of a background figure, sitting at his desk with a typewriter, turning around to look at the other man and the woman.  He's wearing a suit, tie and glasses.  He looks a little sad/jealous.  The other man is partially seated/leaning on a large wooden desk at the center of the picture.  His right foot is still on the floor, but his left foot is swinging in the air, with the upper part of his leg on the desk.  He has turned his upper body, resting his weight on his left arm, and is looking down, speaking to the woman seated on the other side of the desk.  He's wearing high top leather shoe/boots, dark suit, vest, tie and boutonniere.  His right hand is holding the lapel of his coat, and he's exuding an air of confidence.  The woman has pushed her chair back a little, so she can look up at the man.  She's leaning on the desk with her right arm, and her left arm is resting across the back of her chair.  She's raised her eyes to look at him, but not her head.  She's wearing a plain, medium colored dress with three-quarter sleeves, and no collar or decorations, just a beaded necklace.  Her hair is in a bun/chignon.
