PCGS Very Fine 30.  This is an extremely important Mormon currency type and is missing from most of the elite specialized collections auctioned in the past few decades. Any dollar hyphen denominated note from this series is rare and Ford had only a $1 note from the issue. The Rust plate note is from the Church Archive collection. The Nyholm plate note (serial 274) is courtesy of the Bob & Carol Campbell Collection and noted as \"may be unique in collector's hands.\" This Newman Collection note is finer: a vibrant and bold example. The size format is wider than fractional notes. Printed on pink paper in all blue on both sides. The layout is still similar to other notes in the series. An interesting border pattern is around the perimeter with fancy corner details. The die in the center shows the textual denomination outlined by the background. On this series, the beehive appears on the central back emblem. Obligations are worded to be in compliance with federal law and private note issues. This is a difficult note to estimate, but it is one of the greatest late series notes from Salt Lake City, Utah.
