NY-157. PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent. An attractive and well-margined 10-pound note. Styled like the 5 pounds and others from this period. In the standard small format with New York arms at the right and border cuts on three sides. Printed by William Weyman on thin laid paper. Signed by Marston, Barclay, and Reade. Noted with \"Small Edge Splits; Minor Mounting Remnants on Back.\" Margins are wide all around, and the small splits are generally confined there. Boldly printed and very appealing. An underrated note in this grade. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society \n\n

From Newman VIII (Heritage Auctions, 11/2017), lot 28091, realized $336.
