PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent.  This is a rare private \"bank\" scrip note issued and signed by W. L. Wilson; it uses a \"Bank of Dixie\" title in the left cartouche. Wilson signed Bank of the State, Fayetteville notes as bank president over 20 years before with little change in his hand. This $1 note was payable in Confederate notes or Arkansas war bonds. The \"1\" counters to the left and right of the obligation are unusually designed. PCGS notes: \"Small Repaired Edge and Internal Splits and Tears.\" This has a well-margined appearance. Ex: Eric P.
