PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent.    A contemporary counterfeit in the style of the previous Fayette branch $20 notes, with the false imprint of Toppan, Carpenter & Co. Philada. at bottom center. This note, completely printed in black, has no red stampings and has a slightly earlier date. Two allegorical women are at top center, and a quartet of political portraits occupies the corners. Those portraits are better detailed than the Fayette branch $20 counterfeits. Plate A. No. 212. Graded as Apparent due to \"Small Edge Splits; Pinholes.\" Some edge nibbling is seen at the top center; otherwise, a fairly solid note. Ex: Eric P.
