PCGS Very Fine 20.  This uncancelled City of St. Louis 1873 $1 Warrant is in well above-average condition. Printed on two sides by the National Bank Note Company, New-York. Green tint is on the frame and micro-lettered guilloche. An eagle with stars is at top center, and denomination dies are at lower left and upper right. At upper left is a portrait of a young woman with bunches of grapes adorning her hair; at lower right, an allegorical female clutches a cherub. There are three engraved signatures. The brown security back has the title in the center. Plate A. No. 58327. A problem-free example with excellent color. Ex: Eric P.
