This well-engraved $1-$1-$2-$3 plate was accomplished by Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson, New-York. This \"A\" position India paper proof is mounted on its original cardstock. Slightly right of center, a Native American man holds out an ear of corn to the farmer seated on the opposite side of the shield. His arm breaks up the word AMITY; the word ENTERPRIZE [sic] is partially obscured by the farmer. The farmer at lower left sharpens his grain cradle. A blacksmith is at the lower right. The base vignette shows a bull. The other $1 proof of this type realized $1,086.88 in Newman Part VII, October 2015. Noted as \"Hole Punch Cancelled\" and \"Mounted on Cardstock\" as made, but with a fault noted as \"Edge Tear in UL Corner.\" This is partially across the upper left seal, but hard to see at first.
