Remainder. PCGS Very Choice New 64PPQ.   A superior example of this type and variety. This $1 Cr. 18B Defence Bond is printed on \"T.C.C. & Co.\" watermarked paper by Keatinge & Ball, Columbia, S. C. The watermark is horizontal rather than vertical, and it is complete. Layout and designs are as on the previous, with cows on the riverbank at the bottom and a curved red ONE protector at the top. Plate B. The Cr. 18 type notes are notorious for poor trimming or handling, but this is a beautiful note that was hand-picked for its quality. The margins are broad for the series (they were printed very close together on the $1-$1-$1-$3 sheets) and the color vibrant. Undervalued in this choice state of preservation. Ex: Eric P.
