PCGS Fine 15.  This is a scarcer Georgia series and in superior grade for the type. Finely engraved by Danforth, Wright & Co. with an \"ABC\" monogram type and a vermillion color back. At the bottom center is a rare portrait of Protestant evangelist George Whitfield. He found religious freedom in Georgia after difficulties in England, and preached in several colonies. He died in 1770 while preaching in Newburyport, Massachusetts. At the left are two sailors stranded on shore, one seated and the other standing with a scope, hoping for rescue (note the anchor on shore). The right end has Durand patent security strips and the title perpendicular on a lathe work strip at the far right. The bank building and title are in the center of the colorful back. The note is a perfect Fine note, with clean and excellent color on the back, which is rarely seen on this series. When encountered, notes from the series usually have some damage. This should be classified as a \"sleeper\" rarity and specialists will recognize that fact. Ex: Eric P.
