PA-224b. PCGS Choice About New 55 Apparent.  This is the key type in the April 10, 1777 series and difficult to encounter in high grades. Even the Boyd Collection note had some flaws. This example is outstanding in nearly all regards. The borders and seal on the face show bold red color. The back on this denomination is printed in black only by John Dunlap. Noted with \"Minor Remnants on Back.\" We have handled only four other examples, and all were extremely low grade or damaged. This is an underrated type, impressive and the finest we have seen.
