The bank's notes became notorious when altered to numerous locations across the Northeast, and with the well-crafted vignettes, could prove deceptive. A sailor and farmer are seated with the Wisconsin State Seal (Forward and beaver at top) at top center. Two girls carrying wheat are at upper left.
