PCGS Fine 15 Apparent.  This is a rare 50 cents denomination from the firm and has a different payable. The note is broad-sized like other Provo scrip types. Lithographed on white paper without imprint, but possibly McKewen & Field, Provo. This note is printed in black (called \"brown\" in Nyholm) and in a style similar to the blue \"Produce\" type. A decorative border is around the perimeter. The title is in white on gray shading. The textual FIFTY CENTS denomination is outlined in a decorative cartouche in the center. One small counter \"50 cts\" is at the right. The obligation is payable \"In Woolen Goods at Retail.\" The secretary's signature is at the bottom. Noted only with some \"Repairs.\" We have not cataloged this type before, and Nyholm's citation of denomination rarity should be noted. The estimate might prove to be conservative. Ex: Eric P.
