GA-65b. PCGS Extremely Fine 45. The larger format style shows the Sterling denomination printed on each end. The horse vignette used on the note is a handsome rendering of Colonial era folk art. This is a bold example and one of the finer we have seen or catalogued. The borders are a trifle tight, but the superior paper and lack of repairs so often seen make this note a visual delight. Certainly among the finest known. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society\n\nRealized $2232.50. Newman VII (Heritage Auctions, 10/2015), lot 18034.
