It appears to be set in a living room, with sofa, chair, table with lamp and picture frame, and a small piece of statuary on the wall.  A man and woman are in the picture -woman on the left, man on the right.  The woman arrears to be sitting on the floor in front of the man, who's seated in a chair.  She's looking to her right, with her right hand to her face and her left hand in the man's left hand.  The man is leaning forward, toward the woman, and his right hand is behind her, probably on her back.  The clothing style reminds me of the 1930s.  The caption at the bottom reads; 'not become Mrs. Jim Dyckman, because she was Mrs. Thomas Gilfoyle.
