Three corners have different iterations of the denomination. The first part of the title is slightly arced at left center above the Auditor's seal, and the second part is centered with the denomination and text beneath. The vignette at left featuring the mechanic, sailor, and women representing Home Industry is similar to that on the Quincy Bank $1, but is wider toward the margin and has additional details on the smokestacks. At upper right, a seated Native American hunter ponders the farm implements and new way of life embodied by the log cabin in the background. Plate A.
