PCGS Very Fine 25PPQ.   White & Hanley is another fascinating Arkansas currency issuer. Like those from M. Mayers & Bro., who is one of the payables noted in the right cartouche, their notes were redeemable at multiple locations. In the left cartouche of this note is the Stirman & Dickson, Fayetteville, payable text. Based upon observations of their notes, these three firms had a close association. This interesting odd denomination from the series has a plate error of \"2$50\" at the upper left. Printed on light brown paper, with engraved issuer names, and not signed. Plate letter B is at lower left. This is the Rothert plate note, and it is very rare. The first we have cataloged and in choice condition for a scrip note from this period. Ex: Eric P.
