Obligations and the denomination are across, with the French equivalent in italics at top center. The top and bottom show a decorative border. Signed by A.T. Crane as \"Post Master.\" Vertically postmarked in red with ST. LOUIS above FEB. 5 at the right; very boldly stamped and clear. Noted with \"Edge and Internal Tears and Repairs; Small Hole near Center.\" The overall condition is above average. The superior stamping enhances the appeal of this note. Ex: Eric P.
