The reverse die on this early Seated Liberty H10c is a ! The arrows indicate where it has shattered and broken into four pieces, each line very heavy and distinct. The die has deteriorated to the point where the upper right section is actually higher, on a different plane, than the other three portions. It is doubtful that many more coins were struck from this particular reverse die.
