UG52. PCGS Very Fine 30 Apparent.  A similar War Claims certificate type, authorized by the Act of March 19, 1874. This brown-tinted face type was also printed by Studley, St. Louis for Civil Service use. The layout is as previous with the State Arms at the top and America at the left end. The green security back with the Act is identical to Cr. UG51. The payee, regiment, date, and amount were written in. Noted with \"Paperclip Rust Stains at top Left; Small edge Repairs.\" These are scarcer than the green military forms. Ex: Eric P.
