It appears to be an interior scene, with a small table, a window and a wall sconce in the background. There are two men, a woman, and a dog in the scene. The older of the two men is standing at the left side of the page, facing the right side, but with his head tilted to observe the others. He's wearing striped grey trousers, black cutaway coat with white shirt and tie. The younger man is in the middle of the picture, and is apparently angry. He's wearing a grey double-breasted suit, white shirt, dark tie, and a homburg on his head. He's waving a cane in the air with his right hand, and has the leash of a small terrier dog on his left wrist. The terrier is standing by his left foot. The young woman is on the right-hand side of the page, looking at the angry man. She's wearing a light-colored flapper style dress of the 1920s, with sash and bow around her hips, and a cloche hat on her head. She's making an alarmed gesture with her right hand, and has her left hand on her chest. The caption reads; \"If the young pot of poison tells me I have a face like a fish, I shall clump his head. We Woosters have our pride.\" I'm sure this is one of P. G. Wodehouse's Jeeves and Wooster stories, but haven't been able to find out which one."},{"label":"Medium","value":["Black-and-white prints (prints on paper) [AAT]"]},{"label":"Date Created","value":"D:00 M:00 Y:1877 - D:00 M:00 Y:1960"},{"label":"Image View Type","value":"Periodical Illustration"},{"label":"Title","value":"Untitled"},{"label":"Copyright Status","value":["In Copyright - Educational Use Permitted"]},{"label":"Collection Name","value":["Walt Reed Illustration Archive Tear Sheet Collection","Dowd Illustration Research Archive","Walt Reed Illustration Archive"]},{"label":"Link to Finding Aid Record","value":"https://aspace.library.washu.edu/repositories/3/archival_objects/280076"},{"label":"Publish Country","value":["United States [LCNAF]"]},{"label":"Collection ID","value":["DIRA-00019"]},{"label":"Collecting Area","value":["Dowd Illustration Research Archive"]},{"label":"Genre Form","value":["Tear sheets [AAT]","Graphic Design and Illustration"]},{"label":"Style Period","value":["Commercial Modernism"]},{"label":"Cultural Context","value":"Popular American Culture"},{"label":"Copyright Statement","value":"<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC-EDU/1.0/\">This Item is protected by copyright and/or related rights.
