The other person is turned away from the bed, dodging the pillow, which is colliding with his right arm, and has apparently caused him to fire the gun in his right hand, aimed down at his right foot.  He's dressed in dark clothing.  Dark shoes, pants, jacket, and cloth cap, probably 1900s style.  His lower face is covered by a white scarf.  His left hand is up, as if in surrender.
