NC-184a. PCGS Extremely Fine 40. This is another North Carolina series with mottos. The notes were printed on laid paper by Hugh Walker, and high grade notes are often hard to locate. Interesting secret marks were used to deter counterfeiters (who were wise to them anyway). This type spells \"Drath\" at the left instead of \"Death\" and places a tiny \"u\" over the \"y\" in \"May.\" A boldly printed and bright note, well above the norm. Ex: Eric P.
