Though mostly observed as a contemporary counterfeit (a plate C counterfeit is plated in Sheheen), this example exhibits several strongly engraved features and appears genuine. At top left, one cherub writes and the other reads. The cameo medallion heads at the right are much better detailed than on the known counterfeit and compare favorably with the proof plated in Sheheen (#316).
