Remainder. PCGS Very Choice New 64.  The 1933 Depression Scrip notes are quite varied in style, location and rarity. Several Florida issues are rare, and this is one of them. This note is colorfully printed by H. & W. B. Drew & Co., Jacksonville, with a style that several Florida cities used. The blue tint is quite striking. Common to notes from the imprint, both face and back are covered with a repeating pattern based on the original Florida state seal: a Native American woman strewing flowers, a cocoa tree, and a steamboat with the motto \"In God We Trust.\" The town is listed on Benice's authorizations for these notes, but not illustrated. Very rare, and the Newman Collection notes from this issuer are the first we have encountered. A $10 note from the series in a similar grade sold for $470 in the October 2015 Newman Part VII sale.
