PCGS Fine 15. This is an interesting, indeterminate post note series engraved by the American Bank Note Co., Phila. They were printed on unusual format sheets of $1-$1-$2-$1 denominations. Unlike the $1 in the series, the prominent SIX MONTHS is not seen, only the fine print \" . . . after the termination of the present war\" concealed in the obligation. Several sailing ships are in the harbor at top center. The left end shows a woman with flowers, and the right end has seated Commerce. This appears to be signed, but normally this is seen unissued only. Ex: Eric P.
