RI-221. PCGS Good 6 Apparent. Though this is low grade, it is a fascinating example of period Colonial note history. The raising to \"Twenty\" from \"Two\" Shillings is seen with scrutiny, but most important was backing the note on a contemporary piece of newspaper. This concealed the lack of a printed back, necessary for a 20 shillings note, but absent on the original. Noted with \"Splits, Tears and Damage; Sewn Together; Backed.\" A curiosity and a unique piece. Ex: Eric P.
