Undated, circa 1820-30s. Philadelphia. A large format proof sheet on India paper. The title block is across the center, in reversed white lettering on lathe work. Towards the top, a banknote-style advertising note has the title FORGERIES prominent. Simple lathe work edging is around the perimeter. The top half of the sheet has several vignettes, and the bottom half shows mostly vertical and horizontal lathe work strips. There is one row of vignettes under the title. Most vignettes were used on Obsolete notes from the late 1820s. Numerous folds and some light foxing are seen. There are a few tiny juncture holes noticed from the back. Fine. Ex: Eric P.
